Designing OISHI we were inspired by the atmosphere of old Japanese blocks and izakaya bars (Japanese casual places for after-work drinking and meals) decorated with traditional red Akatetin lanterns and bright neon sign boards. We aimed to embody the spirit of a lively Japanese street where neighbors having dinner so naturally coexist with the ones playing Sega games.
